Assignment 3

PEPP's primary target audience is the low income community of Fargo/Moorhead, to which they offer community organization training and support for the purposes of developing dialogue between the community itself and those individuals and organizations in advantageous civic positions. The audience contributes to PEPP's mission through any successes had as a direct result from the services provided by the organization.
The organization has targeted its audience in the past through newsletters, brochures and other print media before setting up its current website . The organization continues to utilize both print media and the internet as a means to communicate to its audience;in this way the organization can communicate to those with and without internet access.
PEPP's secondary audiences are other organizations in the region, and it may be to this community that my blogs are more relevant. Since my focus will be the "Waking the Sleeping Giant" non-profit coalition project, most of the content of my future blogs will deal with these regional organizations.
Currently, I have only been in communication with PEPP's ED, Duke. In the future I may have more direct communication with PEPP's board of directors.
